This was a great movie! It reminded me that I liked westerns to begin with. Great cast, great acting, great story. Loved Ben, another great job, solid actor! Worth a watch.

Over Here!! ( Then She Whistles To Get Your Attention)
Don't worry you'll get what I mean when you see the movie. This is Hands-down, one of the greatest "modern" Westerns (ie; Unforgiven, TombStone) ever made. And just "plum" ( a nod to the old west) one of the greatest action movies ever made. Action from start to finish. Just a perfect movie!! watch it!!
this is a very good movie aslong as you forget like this movies writers and directors did that the christian bale character has a wooden leg ..they seem to forget that..good western 4/5 good movie!!
This movie goes beyond the spagetthi western style , it has deeper plot than usual gunshooting films due to the acting and story line and many other elements such as dialogue and characters 5 stars.
Excellent Western. An enjoyable and nicely paced plot with a superb cast. Russel Crowe and Christian Bale were both fantastic in this one.
Great ending; I was expecting it to turn out like that.
Hope to see more Westerns like this being made .. it'll help get more people interested in the genre.

Yuma delivers, simple premise, complicated movie. It pretends not good vs. evil, or honor and glory vs. greed and corruption, but looks deep into each characters soul for vengeance and malice, purpose and circumstance. We find our villains loathsome yet intelligent, and as much the heroes and lawmen. What makes this truly remarkable is the film spends no time on character development, but allows the events to explore the characters. It still has that 'mission impossible' feel of incredulity, diminished however as a backdrop to a higher purpose. It takes you on a deadly cat and mouse game, without premonition as to result. The film delivers western action, and much more. 10/10
Scores in the entertainment department, but stumbles with a typically wooden performance from Bale, a clumsy, misguided ending, and Crowe's ridiculous poetic not-so-bad guy.
Great movie, Westerns are always full of, "Oh Yeah Right" takes, but this one is actualy really great.
Great photography, great acting, great movies. It has some thinking also, as you think about Good Guy´s inner battle!
Well..Advise..Watch it..
"that would never happen" way too many times. Look, it is ok to say that in a comicbook movie, like superman or some unnatural thing happening in another movie, but every other minute I was saying "that would never happen in real life.. " The writing was horrible for this reason alone, it was supposed to be serious but there was so much bull crap that would not happen in real life or even in any movie that is supposed to be somewhat believable. Nothing in it is believable.
