watching this movie brings back memories.. i could only rember the exact character of da chesher cat so it was great reminding myself of it but alice is strange and some of da characters scare me still a great classic though.. :)
eh no.. the guy: Lewis Carrol (Charles Lutwidge Dodgson) did not do acid. look him up at wikipedia and you can see he was in fact a very intelligent man who knew exactly what he was doing when he wrote this book. you do need some level of presence to be able to write it considering fx the poems.. maybe read the book
he was just conscious about making this "nonsense" world = weird/upside down world. which is kind of the point of most fantasy..
yeah, it's about nonsense and nothing making sense because it's a world a child dreamed up.
goddamnit why does everyone nowadays have to make everything about drugs its just a nice film.
i just watched this movie again for the first time in a long time, and i dont really understand why disney rapes so many good stories.
alot of the events and characters in this movie, were in the second lewis carroll/alice story, and that one had alot more characters too. i dont understand why they mixed them together.
Great movie. I've always loved it and I love the book also. I can't wait to see Tim Burton's version of it. Comes out in March of 2010. Too bad I'll be at bootcamp when it comes out or else I'd be the first in line at the movie theater to see it. I absolutely love the story of Alice In Wonderland!!
Just watching this movie makes me NEVER wanna try acid.. LOL " not that i ever wanted too, but still the movie is strange enough !
