A group of nine college students staying at a friend's remote island mansion begin to fall victim to an unseen murderer over the April Fool's day weekend.
I havent seen the original of this movie ..but from past experiances of watching hollywood remakes .. you start to wonder if its not broken to begin with why try and fix it??
I guess they do these Remakes to appeal to the younger generation..the remakes are offten good but rarely do they manage to surpass the originals
Anyway this films ok..its worth watching once..the twist at the end i could see coming a mile off!! i totaly knew that was going to happen!!
this is a horror film that young teenagers will probably enjoy..its got a few scares here and there..if your a red blooded male then its worth watching for the stunning eye candy in the movie lol..its not good its not bad ..worth watching once
Somewhat near the end i started to get the feeling i was watching 'As the world turns' but then!

out of nowhere this great twist fixed all that when that girl got shot through the head! So yeah i guess i waited for those 5 seconds the whole time but it was worth it! Sue me for being sick minded =D
One of my favourite movies of all time. Saw it again last night for the umpteenth time last night (but on DVD for the first time)and it's still wonderful. Funny, scary and seriously smart - the "twist" is great and works well even on multiple viewings - there's no cheating here, it works well even when you know it and can see it coming. I love it to bits, and it's tremendous fun. Criminally underrated. The cast is terrific, especially Deborah Foreman, and it's the first thing other than the Back to the Future movies that I've seen Thomas F Wilson in! And he's funny and likable in it too. Gorehounds needn't bother, but if you like a good story and a good mystery you'll have a ball. It's quite possibly the only slasher movie that will appeal to people who hate slasher movies! I adore it.
I haven't seen the original but some of the actors in this remake were flat out bad. There were some good scares here and there, but it's more of a mystery movie. Keep you guessing. I

thought to myself during the movie that they may be playing a prank on Desira, but it drifted off after Ryan was murdered.
There are kinda two twists at then end, but you must pay close attention.

Twist 1: The whole movie after Milan's death is an april fool's joke on Desira! Twist 2: After they reveal that it was all a prank, Torrence was told by Blaine to show her how the gun had blanks. Torrence fired a blank but it was a real bullet, which killed Desira. Torrence and Blaine are both put on trial. Torrence is acquitted and Blaine gains control of all the inheritance from their father. The catch is that he loaded the gun so the second shot fired would be a real bullet. He had told torrence fire one at her head to prove it was a blank. He knew with Desira dead, he would get all the money. That is why he is caught smirking after he leaves the court room.
I don't know how ur confusing this movie with, I know what you did last summer.. This is a completely different movie with a better story! And it came out 1st!! 10/10 stars!!
this is a big rip off of the great movie "i know what you did last summer" and the following movies this is alot like it not the end but the reat of the movie was the only reson it is good is that it is a rip off a good movie so i rate it 4/5 i guess worth a watch if you like "i know what you did last summer"
jackass the i know what you did last summer is a rip off of this movie since april fools day was filmed like 10 years before jennifer love-hewitt hit the big screen.
This Is Not The One Made In 1986 I Mean Everything
was the same except the end and that,s where every plot thicken,s i still like the first one best, this one was ok but actor,s really sucked in this one 4/5
i really didn't think that i would like this remake, but i have to say that it really isn't a remake but a new movie with the same name. i give it a 3/5!
