An amazing re-telling of the Batman story, Really wicked cast, after so many tried to make this role their own, Christian Bale finally does it! 4 outta 5
Wow! I cant believe that I slept through this movie! haha! I mean the 1st time I slept and thought that this movie sucked but now that I see it properley, its amazing. I learned a few more things about batman too!

I never knew he was afraid of the bats! never knew that the organisation from where he learned to fight were the bad guys!
and some other too! It was a great movie, loved every sec of it. Batman Begins! Shows how it all began! Cant wait to watch The Dark Knight now! and some more of Batman. Make the Arkham Asylum movie too!
to this date best batman movie ever made i love the jack's one too but this has perfected the batman bale suits the role like a glow then there is the liam neeson perfect as the villain there is not one fault at this film to point loved it and watched it dozens of times all time greatest
Although I wouldn't say it's better than The Dark Knight, I can understand why people would say it is because it is definately as good as the sequel. A truly great film, I can not wait for the third one.
i thought my taste for movies got lost. guess I was wrong.
After watching Bring It On Fight To The Finish, I never liked it. But seeing the ratings here, it was high so I told myself, maybe I'm losing taste.
But Batman Begins is just remarkable. Actually, I didn't know that Dark Knight was a sequel to Batman Begins. i thought the start is Dark Knight. Still, i enjoyed Dark Knight. But after learning that Batman Begins is a prequel of Dark Knight, and seing the ratings, I was really excited to watch this and after watching this, I was never dissapointed. The movie really rocks.
It shows how bruce wayne become batman. The theme is also different from the first batman movies where its not so serious. Here, its so serious. ahahahaha. Joker would ask me why so serious. anyway, may you rest in peace ledger.
anyway, this movie is 5/5, 10/10, 100/100. I'm not saying its the best, but its the best.lol
i mean, you should watch this. and then watch The Dark Knight.
not better than the dark knight but way better than the old sequel, there is a purpose for this batman. this is an emotional as well as an action movie, that's why its perfect. it shows Batman in training, and learning martial arts. Love the vehicle ("bat-mobile").
Christian Bale is the worst batman. A good actor but, he puts way too much emphasis on his batman voice that he sounds like a chain smoker. Michael Keaton is and always will be the best man to play batman, hands down.
Bale's poor performance as batman is, in my opinion, the only flaw to this movie. 8/10
This is a great film, recommend it to batman fans and comicbook lovers! I love this film, the action and everything is great, especially Christian Bale! the only thing that bothers me is the rough/growl voice bale does, kind of awkward, but nevertheless it's still a brilliant film!

i didnt expect much, and i am kinda late considering the fact that this movie came out 4 years ago, but wow..surprised, in a good way, very good way in fact..awesome action, great actors, realistic, and doesn't mess with the whole comic book cartoon batman version..

Directed Brilliantly, nice to see how Batman learned his skills. 3rd best batman movie. in 2nd place Batman and Robin but nothing will beat The Dark Knight. 9/10

The new era of batman has started off pretty good and for christian bale to be batman for his first time he has played the role brilliantly.
Even the not so big villain who is trying to destroy the city still is a big threat unlike the villain

I started watching this movie on a cruise ship just outside of Nassau in the Bahamas in Dec. of 2005. It was time to go to dinner and it was lobster night so I told myself I would come back to the room and finish watching it later. Carnival has a few movies they run in a loop back to back on different TV channels in your room. Almost 4 years later I got to see the rest of the movie. It was great. I give it a 4.5 on a 5 scale.
I loved it now I get the dark knight/batman more thanks!

I like the end where he is shown the joker card see that would leave a cliffhanger if I hadn`t of seen The Dark Knight first. Silly me. Didn`t know it was related. To be perfectly honest I only watched The Dark Knight because Heath Ledger was in it ( R.I.P ) I think they are making another Batman movie which is related to The Dark Knight movie can`t wait!! :P
Yeah, its kinda like a series..like Pirates of the Caribbean and Lord of the Rings..lol :P
They'll make a good third one and fourth I bet.
But, where have you been? :o not knowing these two shows are not related..it's like not knowing your brother when you see him..
The scene where The Scarecrow accidentally breathes in the toxic fumes, and he sees Batman as a complete pitch black, beast like, raging monster. That scene for me, was how I saw Batman when I was a kid. I truly hated the camp 60's Batman, and really wasn't fond of the 1989 Batman or the films that followed, but, that scene for me was like a religious experience. Truly, I think Batman Begins sets a standard for comic-converted movies. Thank God, for this film, The Dark Knight and the films that follow. It proves, and shows, comics aren't just for kids and geeks, but for everyone. 95/100. Play-listed. Definitely one of my favorite films.
I liked "The Dark Knight" slightly more, but this is still a fantastic film. Wonderful cast (Bale, Oldman, Freeman, Caine and Neeson all in the same film - you couldn't ask for better than that), wonderful script; some really memorable quotes - My favourites:

"It's not who I am underneath, but what I do that defines who I am" and "I won't kill you .. but I don't have to save you."
And a wonderful story, too. There really isn't anything negative to say..
Batman is the best superhero..5/5.
