Wow I actually loved this movie..if I was stuck living in a hotel room and randomly met a guy..with my burnt out brain on drugs..hehe I would of done the exact same thing..
Every so often you put on a movie and from the start you crank your head left..then right..then scratch it..wonder if u should turn it off, but are so darn fascinated that you cant figure it out and yet u are determined to, So u stick with it till u find yourself at the end. Well, that was me and this movie. It wasnt until I was 1.2 way through that I decided I liked it..if only I knew what the hell was going on (aside from bugs that weren't there). I had this feeling I had seen it somewhere before...
I figured it out, and I liked it..and in the end, I liked that it was different.
Then I figured the out even more... after chewing on this movie all night in my mind it came to me..I was it when I was a kid, only there WERE bugs...and I think it was a teacher or a scientist who had them and went mad... Anyway, it was called Bug.
I was laughing through a lot of this movie, its actually quite a dark comedy if you pay attention. Ashley Judd is absolutely out of control.. maybe I'm just twisted..but this did not creep me out at all it was some hysterical nonsense. I loved it! 4 stars!
WTH was that? I knew that i shouldn't have, but i did anyways. Whoever wrote this was on one hell of a trip. This movie makes no sense whatsoever unless your high. Get the bong out and stuff it or roll a good blunt and it makes perfectly good sense then. Thats why i have to give it a 10/10 stars
I want to start by stating that i absolutely love Ashley Judd..however, i did not love this movie. Someone needs to help the writer to fix this because he/she was clearly on some serious drugs..there was a really unique idea behind it all but it was just too crazy for nothing 3/5 stars (the extra star is for Ashley

Tried to watch this movie here because "Bravo" had a (15 creepier scarry movies) deal on this week and this was in the top five, so figured I would give a look see, had some problems so looked everywhere to rent it, and found it today, soo On top on the hour and a half spent watching this, and the couple of days it took to find it, I would say this movie has succesfully robbed me of four days of my life! This movie is flat out boring, no movie schould take a whole hour to start rolling. Yeah it's creepy, but what in the hell man, you need to deliver up something, anything!Pay me for my time with some visual stimuli! And no matter how drunk I got, I would never belive this crap was happening to me! EVER!
Saw this was on tv, so I figured i'd give it a chance.. I knew I shouldn't have and I was right.. The pace of this movie was very slow and boring, about an hour of the way through it does start getting better story-wise but, it was to boring and drawn out for me.. 1/5..
I can't BELIEVE how many people liked this movie. The acting was good but it is on my list of least favorites (with Cry Baby and Raising Arizona.) I like weird but this was just horrid. Acting- 4/5, Movie- 0/5
Everyone said this movie was crap, I disagree. It's not horror, even though there where some disturbing scenes that made me gag. I enjoyed it, takes a little bit to get going but once it got going, things definitely take a turn for the worse. 3/5 just watch it.

A creepy horror/thriller starring Ashley Judd, Harry Connick, Jr. and Michael Shannon, the film is actually based on the play of the same name by Tracy Letts. It is hard to say if this film is really about side effects of Meth or Morgellons (also called Morgellons disease or Morgellons-syndrome) but it was just peculiar! Worth watching once in my opinion.
This really isnt that bad of a movie. Its just soo different from pretty much all other horror movies. I did enjoy it and it kept me entertained and confused through the entire thing. Id say give it a chance, and go into it with an open mind. Its different but its a good. I give it a 6.5/10
And that my friends is why you shouldn't smoke crack (or any other drug). Pretty good film, that guy really creeped me out! He was quite believable. And poor Ashley, didn't she just look all used up and ragged out. No glamor to this film. I think you'll enjoy it if you keep your mind open.
this is not your type of movie, please don't trash it. It's not your usual "horror" movie, but I think it's listed as one b/c of the horrors your mind can create. I think it's worth a watch for the paranoia factor, LOL, but I enjoyed it.
i know most didn't care for it but i thought it was different. how fear can manifest itself in different ways and how one can be pulled into something because they are looking for a missing part in their life and will take anything even if it isn't healthy. this is why jim jones and manson were able to get people to follow them.
If you don't go into this expecting it to be a horror movie, I think you may like it. The title might be a little misleading, this is not a horror film at all. IT is however very different and different is not always so bad, I rate it 2.5/5 it is worth watching one time, but not something I would watch over and over
