I PROBABLY GONNA BE THE BAD GUY BUT I REALLY FIND THIS MOVIE TOO MUCH CHEEZY.
THE ACTORS DIDN'T A GOOD JOB, THEY OVERPLAYED AND IT SOUND SO FALSE!!
MEG RYAN TOO, I MEAN SHE LOOKS SO GORGEOUS IN THIS FILM, BUT HER 1ST CONVERSATION WITH HIM SOUNDS SO WRONG.
ANYWAY THE STORYLINE IS ORIGINAL AND THE SOUNDSTRACK IS JUSTGREAT!! "IRIS" IS ONE OF MY FAVORIT SONG!!
ive seen this movie soo many times. its one of my favorites. great love story, and the ending is just.. heartbreaking. i give it a 5/5. the soundtrack is also amazing! lol its on my ipod. watch this movie, you wont regret it. maybe a little, if you dont like to cry.
ok i LOVED the movie all the way up to the last 5 minuts i think they ruined it buy doing what they did BUT i still agree that it was a reli good film i just didnt like the way they ended it but i sopose no matter how much i moan about it i carnt change it. but i still think it was an ok watch not good anouth tho to get into my top 10 but good anouth 2 watch. but over all i would give this a 2.9/5 as i said the ending let down the rest of the film (well i thoght that) :D xx
this movie was amazing. the ending was..well. you'll see. but the only thing i think about movies is that if they don't impact a person someway, whether it be a comical way, etc. then it's just a waste. but this truly just follows how life is and there is no reason to look down at the whole of the film just because someone didn't expect to feel a certain way. =D
I love this movie, always have, always will. I have watched this movie over a dozen times,I never tire of it. It is such a warm heartfelt movie & yes very sad. But if you think about it ,he got what he wanted, & he will get to see her again in all eternity. If he didn`t..

It is a beautiful thing to have some one love you so much & to risk everything for it. ( Unless they are a stalker). I have always loved Nicolas Cage ever since I saw him in valley girl, & with every movie he just excels a little more each time.
An outstanding production directed by Brad Silberling staring Nicolas Cage and Meg Ryan. Set in Los Angeles, which I find very apt, this film is actually a remake of Wim Wenders' 1987 German film Wings of Desire (Der Himmel über Berlin) a very moving account, a must see in my opinion.
this movie is very romantic! i really love it! im glad i finally got around into it! for years i really wanted to watch this! its just i always forgot about it! its really nice! its just.. the ending was so sad!! 5/5
The last 15 mininutes I was crying like a child. Wonderful movie - I liked so much. I like the actors, even Nick and he is not my favourite one. And the main idea - enjoy the life, it is beautiful, u are living just once! My rate: 5/5
i watched this movie a long time ago with my wife, she died oct 11 2007, i see this movie differently now..nicolas cage said "i would rather have had only one kiss, one touch of her hand rather than to have spent eternity not having it" i have to agree. i miss her terribly but that line in this movie puts it into perspective for me. PEOPLE, LOVE YOUR LOVED ONE BECAUSE YOU NEVER KNOW WHEN THEIR TIME IS UP AND IT WILL DESTROY YOU..10/10 EXCELLENT MOVIE
