I actually like long movies It more time in the moment. Anyway 10/10 It's a great movie balancing out the comedy & the drama. I had some huge laughs also moments that made me analyze life. I will add this to the collection. It's great. Adam Sandler at his finest.
I saw the trailer for this on tv and I wasn't impressed. I heard it got a bad rap from the critics and I could see why when I watched it. It wasn't a bad movie by any means other than it was way too long to watch in the cinema.
Can you imagine drinking a large Fanta and trying to hold your pee for 147 minutes?
I peed twice watching it at home.
But bad points out of the way, it's a really decent comedy/drama with a rollercoaster storyline, plenty of ups and downs and it has a tongue-in-cheek kinda humour. No massive laughs but it was very amusing nonetheless.
I enjoyed it.

Man for so long Sandler has played the same character in the same style movies..they were still all decent movies (minus Zohan haha) and with this Movie I think Sandler has totally shown his true acting talent, excellent cast Eric Bana was great and Seth Rogan was..Seth Rogan what more can you say..cock jokes and Improv!!..does anyone else feel that Sandler took alot of inspiration for his character from Jack Nicholson??
Your forgetting Punch Drunk Love and Reign Over Me. Two great performances. Also Spanglish was good. Those were silly type characters like the rest of his films.
Judd Apatow shows a softer side in this movie starring Adam Sandler and Seth Rogen and shows a the story of two comedians personall life. It was funny but more of a drama. 4/5
Definitely a dark/comedy film and as I'm into dark humor there was a few parts that made me laugh, but there were so many comedians in this movie and it just wasn't funny enough. 3.5/5
Not bad of a movie. More of a Comedy/Drama or Dark Comedy. Its weird seeing Adam play serious--I heard he is good at it in other films but I like the funny side of Adam instead. I think its cool to see comedians step out of their box & do something different.
I really enjoyed this movie. The only thing that bothered me is that it was not a comedy but a drama. I enjoyed the movie but I feel that those who are looking forward to a good laugh might not enjoy it as much as I did. 8/10
its not as good as i thought it would be.. but its not bad.. it seemed like adam sandler put a bit of him self into his character..so for that i give it a 4/5
OMG this movie was very long but it was very very nice to watch i loved how they got Marshal Mathers and ray romano and eric bana. Judd Apatow movies are awesome, love them. i did think it would've been funnier but still it wasnt bad.
Funny movie was not great cld have been alot better considering the actors that played in the movie, movie kinda dragged 2 me shlda been more funnier 4 the length of the movie really expected alot more out of this movie worth watchn though 3/5
A Dark Comedy..
With such a fantastic cast, I expected soo much more! A few good laughs but not really FUNNY PEOPLE portrayed here. They got $30 from our group in the theater. A let down... A Bad writer scored a good cast I guess.. Watch it to see decent actors, but dont expect to see a funny flick! Atleast it is FREE here!

The "bad writer" you mention also wrote The Cable Guy, The Wedding Singer, Knocked Up, Talladega Nights, Walk Hard, and co-wrote 40 Year Old Virgin and You Don't Mess With The Zohan. So yeah, Judd Apatow = Amazing Writer
The film had depressed me so much i couldn't even force myself to laugh at the jokes. It's not what it says on the tin, believe me!.
Tbh Seth Rogan's room mate was funniest character out of them all (if i had to pick one) I still recommend a watch and get it over with. 2.5/5
Well not exactly what I expected but ANYTHING with Seth Rogen and Adam Sandler (two of my fav comedians) I WILL always love. More Drama than Comedy. I thought they should've had more funny scenes, not to mention the movie was a bit long. Still a good movie, worth a watch. Jonah Hill is funny too!
I really enjoyed this movie I thought the story was good and the acting was decent. It was far too long though and there was 1 or too parts that dragged on. Overall it was worth watching.. just the once though. 4/5
