I wasn't sure what to expect and my history of knowing the Green Lantern isn't much. So I don't know if this was historically accurate, but it was a good flick none the less.
When Abin Sur dies, the ring went directly to Hal Jordan's hands. But Sinestro said that when the holder of the ring dies, the ring goes directly to the guardians.
What's wrong with these ratings, keep having 70% in these DC animation film. No wonder we don't have any live action film for this. What's with the audience, don't they know a good film when they see one? I want to watch a live action film for this type of stuff and you guys are ruining it.
Great Movie. As you may be able to tell I love green lantern. This movie is just in the ways of the comic. I am still holding out for a live action GL movie = ) 5/5
FANTASTIC ANIMATION, FANTASTIC STORYLINE,AND SOME GREAT CHARACTERS..I LOVED THIS VERSION OF HOW GREEN LANTERN GOT STARTED..I GUESS YA GOTTA BE A SUPER HERO FAN, LIKE ME..A DEFINITE MUST SEE..
this was a good good flick for those anticipating the real motion picture. not a real big green lantern enthusiast, but love comics heros too death. so can't wait .
Good animation - story was fun and engaging - you wanted to know what happened - characters are decent - animation is OK not as good as some of the manga animie but still good - streaming was good speed to. Give it a go you won't be disappointed ;-)

I can't believe this movie is not rated higher , i am not even a green latern fan but this was great . Movies like this keep me wanting more and i hope they come out with a new one soon :) 5 out of 5
