i loved cathy bates in this movie,her & james caan did a great job.this realy wan't a horror movie,but it was still good.it is a must c if u haven't yet wel u should!
Its pretty rare for a Stephen King movie to be as good or better than the book its based on but Misery is TONS better than the book. Kathy Bates is fantastic and the movie is just excellent. Watch it now- 10/10
Ill have to agree with every one else here and say that the acting was just top notch! This movie kept me interested and the whole time I'm wondering what's going to happen next. Enjoy!
i've seen this movie maybe 20 times and i still jump and tell the writer to hurry. there just aren't that many thrillers that actually deliver the thrills and chills. excellent cast!
Misery: good film definatly a worthwhile watch for any SK fan. 4/5 stars

I am confused with which story Annie (Bates) is reading which she gets angry about. I take it she gets mad/crazy over the new "Sheldon" book ;"Misery's Child" but what I'm confused about is what is the book/manuscript that she (Wilkes) started reading ,the untitled one, when he was 1st brought to her house? is it a new "Misery" manuscript or another book entirely? I hope someone can clear this mystery up for me as I feel really stupid for having to ask after having seen this film about 12 times and I'm still at a loss?? :S
I can't understand why people enjoy watching this. It was boring and that woman could give anyone nightmares. I have to give them props for the acting but really? Why does this have a 9.5 rating??..
Great classic! You will not be disappointed.. Stephen King sometimes can be questionable but this was one of his bests! Great acting and even better story line. Just see for yourself. This is another movie for one seeking an exciting thriller!
