man i've seen this movie about 20 times now, and it never gets old or boring. i mean i'm not so much into these kind of movies but this one was great. underrated too imo, 5/5.
It was okay. All the girls loved it. Even my brother said it was a cute movie. But it's one of those movies to watch.. not buy. Thank goodness for this site, huh?
Exellent story great effects shame about some of the casting some of the actors didn't quite fit and their performance was undewhelming, the main guy and claire danes were both ropey as was the fat witch sister. Still 9/10
I can't believe I waited so long to watch this. It was a great movie. Loved every second of it, it made me laugh and cry, and kept me at the edge of my seat, waiting to see what happens next. I give it a 5/5.
i can't get enough of this movie..romance, comedy, and catching lightning bolts..it's a really great movie for all ages and has a good lesson for young people in love..most comments say they didn't expect this movie to be so great and i didn't either but i've watched this movie over and over again..it's one of my PICK-ME-UPPERS..give this a try and i promise you won't be disappointed, especially fantasy lovers like me

I absolutely loved the movie. great acting. the plot was something similar to ever fairy tale story, but really diffrent. It's hard to explain. I really can't stop watching this movie. first time seeing it was on HBO. I watched it with my mom & sister's. they loved it. great movie 8/10
Fantastic! I don't say that often but with this film you really were watching a truly romantic fantasy story where their world made sense. A cool character driven story with the special effects enhanced the story without becoming the main character. Definitely watch this film by suspending reality for a few hours you will love it.
Better than I thought it would be and definitely better than Narnia. The only really bad thing is Deniro.. Why Deniro?!?!?!?!?!?! WHYY!?!?!?!!??!?!?!?!?!
A very interesting movie~ I really liked it. The acting was great. The plot was original. There were definitely many twists that I didn't expect. Even the romance kept me guessing. I was always wondering who Tristan would end up with. There was one thing I didn't like about it though.

Tristan's dad's one night stand. That was just unreasonable and shallow. Really made me dislike him. Felt like that happened just so they could progress the story.
But really, the characters are hilarious and whether they're good or bad? Your guess is as good as mine. Watch it~ This movie seems to be really underrated.
Whew, the real falling star is Deniro.
This fanciful film analogous to the Zeigfeld follies of the roaring twenties, except now a seething twenty first century version portending to illuminate our depressed youth from the mist of our countries depression by way of an alternate reality. I have no objection until the gay captain pretends.
Pllease keep our youth away from this hollywood sh.t
