I love this movie, I remember when I first saw it in theaters, it scared the living piss out of me, but I was pretty young though lol, but I love it!!
..don't see why they made parts 2 and 3 crappy and cheesey and low budget
Charlie Sheen's ex, Neal Patrick Harris, Clancy Brown, etc. Corny on purpose but entertaining - "The only good bug is a dead bug" and "Would you like to know more?" Check it out.
First time i've seen this movie, years ago, i wanted so bad to be made a strategy game after it, and when they made a game, i was kinda disappointed. Movie ROCK +5/5.
This is a great movie. I am about to watch ST 2 then ST 3. How could I have ever missed seeing this! It's everything you could ever want to see in a sci fi space based / earth film!
First time seeing this movie and I thought it was absolutely fantastic. Those bugs were pretty awesome. The SFX, CGI and all that was amazing. Luved it all. 10/10
This has been one of my favorite movies since it first came out. My uncle took me to see this in theaters when I was 7 years old and thought it was so badass. The special effects and gore are awesome. I honestly have no idea what is up with parts 2 and 3.. like seriously lol, wtf?
Why is this movie getting good reviews? IT SUCKS!! CHEESY in every way- lame acting, lame effects, even lame looking weapons, uniforms and bugs. WTF?
Yet people are raving over this movie which looks like it was made for children's television and everyone is hammering on the new Terminator movie, which was way way better in every single way..
People are either on drugs or really are doomed..
I think you're missing the point. This movie is basically satirizing militarism; kinda like how the Nazi's were. So, the fact that this movie has some sort of moral in it compared to the new Terminator movie you were talking about which, by the way, sucked, gains more respect from me. Fun fact: every movie Christian Bale is in sucks.
Also, the fact you're even putting Salvation and Starship Troopers in the same paragraph is ridiculous considering Troopers is a 12 year old movie with effects that still look damn good today.
