This movie was probobaly an hour and a half too long. They could of started it when he crashed. After that was the only good parts and the only parts that made me want to keep watching. Before that I was contemplating turning it off but stuck to it. I can't say i was disapointed watching this, but it seems to me there was a bit too much filler.
A interesting Biography on the life of Howard Hughes.. Leonardo DiCaprio was excellent in this. This is certainly one of his best performances and also one of his best films next to "Gangs of New York" and "The Departed".. The Aviator is a top notch film, it's got a great story and great acting from one of the best cast's I've seen.. Martin Scorsese has made another outstanding movie.. 5/5..
3 hours of pure maniac Leo..great film, not an easy one to watch though, since there are some very sad moments at the end..for me personally it was kind of psychological even..
but great nonetheless
Fascinating biography film directed by Martin Scorsese. Magnificent cinematography and an outstanding performance from Leonardo DiCaprio..possibly his best ever, although he is awesome in "Gangs of New York" too.

I'm not a DiCaprio fan, but I believe his Oscar was snubbed, b/c he truly deserved it for this film. Other than that, this film was fantastic! Just everything I enjoyed, the cinematography, the music, costumes, the actors performances, everything! Just about everything a film should posses.
A very nice take on a classic bio ^_^ I was so drawn into it with Leonardo D'Caprio's acting! His acting is believable! Howard Hughes was a hard worker! I can tell that.
I really don't think Leo was the best choice for this role, otherwise it was a really good movie, but I really didn't see Howard Hughes, I saw Leonardo Dicaprio. 3.5/5 still worth a watch
very boring. I guess if you like movies that are similar to documentaries or just documentaries you may like this one. not a fan of leo either which i'm sure aided in my dislike of the film. very drawn out and boring.
Great film. I love bios and historical fiction. This may sound weird but the more dull and slow a film is, the more I like it. I dont know why. I think its cause it gives me a chance to sink into film and the characters a bit more than Leo is an amazing actor, and I use to not think so all that much. But he absolutly wowed me in this movie and in The Departed. I can't wait to see him in Revolutionary Road with his former co-star Kate Winslett. I read that book, it's awesome
i love this film and i hate caprio no not because i am not that pretty because he is an over rated actor like beckams football play any way it is an epic movie any one should not enjoy this movie should see a doctor acting directing camera work music effects all are top class even caprio
Dicaprio surely deserved an Oscar for this movie and blood diamnond. This guy is a tremendous actor. This movie is a bit too depressing for me but leo was amazing so it's worth seeing.
