a great subject , but very slow pace , very poor directing and Matt Damon in one of his worst stiff acting role..and they never aged him..what can I say?..it's a shame, it could have been very interesting.3/5
good one! but like a previous poster said, only if you're really into this type of film cos i can see how it's too slow (and long) for the ones that like action.

Baced on true events this film showes us many very important princibles regarding life and the importance of starting and finishing that which we start!

Amazing movie, well acted and directed. I enjoyed every word and recommend people watch it. I'm older and lived through the beginning of the OSS which eventually became the CIA. I gave 5 stars.
Under Great direction, this movie shows the fallacies of the human being, as we try to hide the truth , not only from the nosy neighbor , but especially and in particular those truths we like to hide from ourselves. Matt pours himself into this role as one would pour tea into a cup.. This movie shows a time of "great wonder" -- i wonder what others think i wonder about--.. It's more than a representation , its a (living) ,
So leave your passport on the table and take a ride with "the good shepherd"
The More Things Change The More They They Stay The Same
Very well done , and it is still true to this day the CIA still uses [spoiler] the same tactics and I will not get into scull and crossbones cuz thats a very long storie . I thought the movie was good and it dident seem long becouse it was very intresting.
Amazing movie. What a cold and lonely way of life. You can't trust anyone, and forget about having a family, or making friends. So much for poetry. I give it 5/5 stars.
This movie was dead on good talking about the CIA and its tactics. Jolie and Damon did a pretty good job with the acting. The ending was also very sad and sicking!
