After a family is forced to relocate for their son's health, they begin experiencing supernatural behavior in their new home, which turns out to be a former mortuary.
I read into it before I watched it today for the first time and everything is diffrent I mean the mom says it happened the kid denies it says after he started on drugs and medication he didnt see anything so I mean I believe this movie based on an event that happened but I think its way over it I mean they over dramatized it in some parts I just cant belive somthing like this would actually happen I grow up in a family that belives in spirits and such but no I just cant see it. And in my opinion if we really have to point fingers at a crazy in the family its the mom I think but yeah after all thats happened.
The movie was okay all in all if I look at it on the Horror scale I'll give it 7/10
This was a typical haunting story with above par acting, not enough scares, but keeps you interested nonetheless.

I thought it was kind of dumb that after the pastor calls to tell them get out, the only thing that happens is the aunt gets wrapped up in a shower curtain and then Matt shows up. The trapped spirits didn't do much to drum up a scare.
Soo i was waiting 4 this movie a long time ago, forgot about it, also when i went to movies and see the trailer, but i forgot about the premier day and the name of the movie until recentely did a research about the scary movies that premier last year and found it. Great Story, perfect acting a most see movie, best hunting that i had in more over a decade. Will watch it more times also is going to my vault.
This movie was kind of good,, its weak in some parts,The cast was good.. Good special fx.. Not great but not that bad eather!! Gave this movie 7/10.. Enjoy!!
good movie. a lot different then other haunting movies. it was better then the other ones. it had a plot that is unlike most i have seen. and the guy who played matts character was hot. good actors, good story. worth watching 3/5
this was suposed to be based on a true story but almost none of the things in the movie corespond with the real life tagedie those people went through.. but for good reason the real story would have made most people sick and would have never made it to theaters, 4/5
After a bit of research, after watching the movie, I'm leaning on skepticism as to how much truth the story holds, but I've got to disagree that it was a bad movie. Story was quite good, arrangement was good, and the acting seemed decent enough, except for the fact that

the mother hardly seemed to genuinely cry(don't know if that's a spoiler)

My only major gripe with it was that cliche pop out and scare you technique they reused over and over, and the intro. Ah, and from someone who knows a bit about the occult, especially ghosts, or is just a horror movie enthusiast, it was painful to watch them make those stupid, common mistakes. 3.5/5! :)
I've watched this movie several times and this is still a wonderful movie to watch. Even though it's a true story we never know what God has in store for us!!
