I read the book a couple years ago when Cormac McCarthy first released it. I was so impressed with the book that when he won the Pulitzer Prize I was not even surprised.

I did find it to be an art film. Very powerful and thought provoking. No it's not for a shallow thinker or someone who is looking for instant action and lots of thrills.
